Incredible partnership based on how we were looking when Foakes went, we were in deep trouble. Bairstow looks supreme at the crease and full of confidence, Overton has batted superbly as well. He’s had a very good Test debut. Certainly didn’t see this coming. |

To think some don’t rate Jonny Bairstow. Imo he’s our third best test batsman in the country. Staggering that some wouldn’t even have him in the team. He’s a perfect middle order batsman for the way England play. |
