My interpretation would be one of impatience, the clock and the skeleton dude, suggesting things are progressing slowly. MA alluded to that too in his recent interview, that things can take some time. We know BC is keen on the move, perhaps just a little frustrated that it's not been confirmed yet. Often with these things it relies on something else being true, before things fall into place. Its entirely possible that we needed (or wanted) confirmation of Pigott off the books before we committed to investing in Celina. They're both on big money for this level. |
Obviously I have no idea what is going on with the finances of it, but it seems we want him, he wants to be here and Dijon want him off the books. Whilst this is going on, he is 2.5 weeks behind on pre-season (not been involved for Dijon). We need him running hot for 30th July, as that was a problem last season. It was a deal I was hoping was being worked on before last season even finished and would happen pretty swiftly. | | | |
