Goliath on prime is pretty good.
Ozark on Netflix, the early series are better though.

Sandman.

It's pretty much perfect, as a show. As a near-lifelong fan of the comics, I will say again, that it's perfect and arguably benefits from both being a fan AND not being a fan(there's Easter Eggs for fans, the story' and lore's pretty clear and well laid out for non-fans).

All you REALLY need to know off the bat is the the main character is Dream(AKA Morpheus, the Sandman, Kai'ckhul, Oneiros...)the anthropomophic personification of dreams.

Has she watched "The thick of it"?

I only saw it during lockdown (Downside of living overseas) - reckon junior would enjoy it.

She says she will have to revisit Ozark as only ever watched one episode.
Goliath she hadn't heard of so thanks.

'Killing Eve' then ? Some lovely frocks in that...and some cunning and irrational slaughter too.

The Boys has moved from 'pretty good' to 'must watch' this last series. They're really not hiding who they're having a go at now.

Plus, the 'leads' of Karl Urban and Anthony Starr are astounding this time out.

....a serialised drama about the making of The Godfather.

Obviously better if you have an interest in the film itself, but I thought it was really good.

Recommended.

If you want something that isn’t too serious, funny but still good then ‘ Only Murders in the Building’ fits that bill.

For the more serious ‘The Underground Railroad’ is good, quite graphic in parts as well.

If you like legal dramas there's The Good Wife on All4. Kind of like a sexy Rumpole of the Bailey, but without the small cigars and Château Fleet Street.

Alan Cumming is excellent in it, but then all the best actors seem to be Brits doing US accents. And Julianna Margulies is super.

The latter is set in Ipswich, I believe?

Sweet Tooth is probably a good shout.

A family type programme with a bit of violence for the boys and enough cuteness for the girls.

Anthony Starr of Banshee?

I've not seen this The Boys.

Is it on a single particular platform?

It's on Amazon. A superhero show based on a comic written by the avowedly anti-superhero Garth Ennis. Starr basically plays Superman If He Was A Psycho and is TERRIFYING.
