Edmundson and Wolf on 15:25 - Sep 25 with 1002 views | Kropotkin123 | Edmundson hasn't been bad individually. He just seems to be the player that should be bringing calm and leadership to the back, and isn't. I would roll the dice and replace Edmundson with Keogh next game. [Post edited 25 Sep 2022 15:29]

Edmundson and Wolf on 15:27 - Sep 25 with 985 views | kizaitfc | We need a leader in there or defender that takes control. Burgess was giving us that power, imo Keogh would give us that and wouldn't be surprised to see him come in on Saturday for Edmundson

Edmundson and Wolf on 15:28 - Sep 25 with 965 views | pointofblue | Except they're not a pairing; we play in a back three. Think it's fair to say that, in general, we're more solid with Burgess at LCB than Edmundson though. Think there is no question Keogh should be in for him next week, if he can play the 90.

It was a definite 4 today. Has been a 4 more often than not this season. I wonder if the 3 has been canned partly because edmundson is so bad on the left of it. The partnership lacks an experienced pro, which is clearly why keogh has been brought in. Chucking away 5 points from winning positions in big games screams for an experienced pro at back. Wonder how long before keogh starts. Obviously it should be edmundson to drop out - he's had two absolute shockers this season and while i wouldn't classify today as a shocker, he was badly at fault for the goal.

I thought Woolfenden did very well today and was in control, but he can't do everything. Is Keogh left-footed? Would he take up the type of sweeper role that Woolfenden plays because he seemed to do when he came on against Sheffield Wednesday? Is he as good on the ball as Woolfy? In fairness, I think we're pretty flexible which may not help us defensively at times. We seem to switch at short notice from a three to a four then back. I think ou usual start is three at the back and certainly I think we look more solid with that. If we're going to move to a two it needs to be Woolfenden and Keogh at this stage.
