Even if the match and officiating go against us today no missiles. I think the FA are seriously considering major punishment against Sheffield Wednesday after what they did a couple of weeks back.

Out of curiosity, any idea if are there league or FA rules on what happens if a match has to be abandoned because fans of one side are throwing a lot of missiles onto pitch, fighting or whatever, and the other side is ahead by say 3 goals at 80 minutes?
Would it definitely have to be replayed, or could the points be awarded to the side obviously in the lead at a comparatively late stage in the game?

We were only 2-0 up, though.
I hope Wednesday get the points deducted - hit them where it really hurts. Still won't get the points back for us but will properly discourage fans from doing it.
It is sad that someone feels it even needs saying but we all know every club has some idiot fans.

Last season they "abandoned" Oldham vs Salford due to a pitch invasion and once the fans left the ground they played out the remainder of the match. Admittedly that is not something they can keep repeating.

Years ago in the old west stand seats were rudimentary in design and had cushions for the seat holder, whenever a referee was having a shocker those mild-mannered seat holders would throw their cushions onto the pitch, so yes once upon a time Ipswich do have "form" on this although a while ago!

Strange assumption there that Town fans need to be told not to do something they already don't do.
I was thinking more along the young lads who are obsessed with social media and following suit to things they have seen happen. I concur that my age group and above would never do that, but you never know with young uns. As I alluded to in the op I think Wednesday will be made an example of and may lose points. The fact it is taking the fa ages to comment points me in that direction.
