Some bald lad (late 20's guve or take) took great delight in getting on the face of a female steward calling her every name under the sun then visibly wilted when challenged by some big burly male stewards.
Old bill tipped up at half time and pulled him out along woth some other idiots and rightly kicked them out.
This is why we shouldn't play on a Friday, its been a long week at school and they obviously needed sleep poor little lambs.

It’s a continuation of certain stewards causing unnecessary problems. It’s been happening since last season.
The offence last night was 2 lads putting their foot on a 2 inch lip at the bottom of the rail before the game. They threw one of our members out a few weeks ago at half time when he was down on the concourse by himself (he was let back in the next game when the club conceded that he’d done nothing wrong). They were gonna try the same thing last night so we all stayed in the section to stop it from happening.
Regency security then came up and escalated things (acting like nightclub bouncers, offering lads out for fights outside etc), followed by the police throwing their weight about and threatening everyone with arrests.
Half the stewards are actually on our side and agree that we’re being unfairly targeted, and we’ve spoken to the club about the issue numerous times, but it still keeps happening game after game.
It’s getting pretty tiresome tbh. |  | | |

I didn't see what happened last night but there was an incident in SBR upper a few weeks ago when the stewards got involved. The sad thing for me was the aggressive reaction of a lot of our fans to the stewards. Similarly, at MK Dons a couple of our fans spent the game abusing a couple of their stewards. Regency are an outside agency, presumably because the club aren’t able to recruit enough to be employed directly by the club and a lot of them seem to give off pub bouncer vibes, whereas the ITFC stewards are generally pretty decent. [Post edited 22 Oct 2022 16:32]

Seeing this first hand over the last few weeks/months I think there is a fair amount of blame on both sides which is coming to a head.
Last night I think the club handled the situation very poorly in respect of making something out of very little, made worse by the intervention of third party security who handled things poorly, presumably because of their lack of understanding of football crowds.
BA deserve credit for lots of the things they do however, from what I see first hand, they need to understand that they need to abide by the same rules and stadium regulations as the rest of the crowd. Persistently breaking these despite being told repeatedly and then acting like petulant children is not going to win ‘friends’ and inevitably lead to an escalation. |  | | |

I don't have an issue with Blue Action. In fact, I sat amongst you early last season but, given my age, decided to move for a slightly more peaceful part of the ground. It's clear that you are boisterous, but that is only for the good, and you would think the stewards would give you a bit of slack. As you clearly have a good relationship with the club, hopefully this is something that could be sorted out between you, the club and the stewards. | | | |
