So what happened at half time in Lower North S6? Lots of security and police getting involved with a couple of lads escorted down to the concourse with some heated exchange. Looked like it was about to kick off.

You are in the wrong.

If you're so charitable stop smoking and making us normal folk having to put up with your stink!

Imagine being such a weak person you can't go a few hours without ruining your own body.

There was no one within 25m around us baby.

.... in which case, where is your argument?

- SMOKING POLICY
Portman Road is a no smoking stadium. This includes e-cigarettes. Anyone found smoking will be ejected from the ground.

You were wrong, you have been told you were wrong. Do you need me to draw you a fricking picture so your clearly simple mind can understand?

Edit to add, Since 2007 " the club is liable to a £2,500 fine.” if anyone is found to be smoking on the premises as the legislation includes "bus shelters, football grounds, entrances to office buildings, train platforms and concert venues."

People like me? Someone who has given you the reasons why smoking is banned at Portman Road. Someone who has told you what the punishment would be if the club turned a blind eye to it? Someone who has told you how long its been banned for (15 years)?

It's people like you, who think you're something special and can circumvent rules who I'd happily set on fire. Even more so when you think you deserve special treatment for being ' a guest of KD' . Nob!

You would happily set someone on fire for smoking outside in the wrong place? I think a simple 'sorry mate, you mind putting that out cause you can't smoke here would probably cover it'.

Some bald lad (late 20's guve or take) took great delight in getting on the face of a female steward calling her every name under the sun then visibly wilted when challenged by some big burly male stewards.

Old bill tipped up at half time and pulled him out along woth some other idiots and rightly kicked them out.

This is why we shouldn't play on a Friday, its been a long week at school and they obviously needed sleep poor little lambs.

Blue action/section 6 do some good and bring the noise but these people drag the rest down, football factory and green street have a lot to answer for - they are films lads, not documentaries

I saw bald lad to, giving it big to the steward, but as soon as the old bill came he hid up. In the second half he started on a girl for clapping when mcgoldrick came on. Seems a total bellend who only picks on women

There is no 'oh go on then mate, it doesn't make any difference' left in the modern world i'm afraid. Drive across a bus lane with a camera when there are absolutely no buses about and you will get fined. The rule beats the reasoning and the world applies the standards of the courtroom. The jobsworths won a long time ago. There's no turning back.

The biggest problem I see in the lower north at present is 4 very old pensioners who sit together.
Sooner or later one or all will get hurt. Goals scored puts them in a dangerous position IMO.

Presumably your 4 very old pensioners have been in the lower north for a good few years and know what to expect. As a pensioner myself with a seat iin section 5 I do.

The youngest of the 4 is probably 80. They celebrate a goal by a slow hand clap….guess.
As the upper rows pile forward on goal celebration. They are in section 6 row F maybe seat 160-170 to be precise.
An accident waiting to happen.

So the behaviour of the people who "pile forward" is the problem not the 4 who are in the allocated space of their seats.

While I see your point, you can't force someone to relocate. However I would like to see the SBR lower to become a safe standing area, that may encourage them to move.

That's not what I said is it.

And in anycase, we were out of everyones way and outside - too many wannabe Hitlers about if you ask me.

Like people who get uppity about bunking train fares?! ;)

But all BANTZ aside, why we don't have allocated smoking areas before/during games baffles me, most other clubs do now. Would save the cleaners a lot of bother and free up the bog cubicles to have one.

2 problems I see. Those who pile forward….impossible to stop.
And although they may have had same seats for years…..it’s becoming a less safe environment for these people.
Section 6 is not suitable for those 80yrs plus. This is why children are not allowed.

Why is it impossible to stop people piling forward? Perfectly reasonable to expect fans to celebrate where they are seated.

We have cameras and can easily identify and expel/ban perpetrators.

Seating was introduced to previous standing areas to improve safety. Piling forward is akin to the old terrace surge, which was clearly dangerous.

Is it against the rules to set Lucan on fire within the grounds of Portman Road?

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Yes cctv is in use. But how do you police celebration?
Remember this is section 6….same row as the blue action boys about 15 feet along towards the cobbold stand. Up against the railings.
How do you stop supporters running down to these railings when goals scored?

It really is a strange situation……after said wild goal celebration these 4 people will normally moan about it amongst themselves….they do sometimes complain to a steward. And prefer not to hear swearing….and do sometimes complain to a Stewart.
