Argyle didn't fall away at all last season.
They got 80 pts. It was a freakish season where 6 other clubs also got higher than 80 pts.
In the history of the play-offs across the 3 division that have them, that is some 120 play offs, only 3 times has a side got to 80pts and not made the play-offs.

Interesting that they were also top last season at this point and didn’t make the play offs. If we had 5 key loan players I would be quite nervous about the recalls. | |
