I hadn't seen that post, but with it being the early kick off if the covers need to come off about 9am those 3 hours between coming off and the game started could be a real issue - how low is it due to go on Saturday morning? | |

The Portman Rd surface is in a dire state. It's needed significant work beneath the topsoil for well over a decade. It cuts up week after week and was like an ice rink even in the second half of the Fleetwood game. If it's consistently below zero between now and Sat I think it'll be a coinflip. | | | |

Just have to look at how many players slip over on our pitch to know that the level below just isn't as solid as it should be for our level imo.
