A few weeks back someone I know applied for a food bank parcel on my behalf. In this cost of living situation it's really hard for me to afford to stick to a gluten free diet as it's so expensive. Anyway, they sorted me out with some lovely gf bits for me and I was so grateful.
I thought it was a one off but I just had a knock on the door, not only did they deliver another food parcel to me but they also gave me £20 worth of co op vouchers in a lovely Christmas card.
They really didn't have to do it a second time, let alone give me vouchers too. Its absolutely made my day and really does make you realise there are some lovely people out there.

Oh mate it's serious. I'm not 'gluten intellorent' whereby it makes you feel bloated, I'm coeliac and gluten is a very serious issue for me and will make me very ill. As I've said, and nobody believes, keeping to a gf diet is very expensive so in answer to your question bread is a luxury for me as it costs about 3 quid for 10 tiny slices. I often wait till Sunday afternoons and then go looking in the co op for reduced gf bread but it's often taken by people who don't even need it before I can get to it. Up til a few years back I used to get 17 loaves of bread and 2 boxes of pasta a month on prescription but the government cut the funding to the area in which I live. Some people can still get gf prescriptions but it depends on where you live and unfortunately I live in the wrong place. Maybe a labour government may look into this unfair practice based on people's postcodes? I hope so [Post edited 14 Dec 2022 15:31]

Genuine question Ryorry, what would it take to represent proof? I like you, and I'm not trying to extract £50 of your hard earned for charity, but genuinely curious as to how someone goes about proving themselves on here.

Let's get this clear. I've doubted you, questioned you, but offered you a way to prove yourself genuine, with an offer of a £50 donation to charity if you do. At no point have I ever been "vile" to you, "fcking" or otherwise.
