Happy with lineup.
Bench is a bit concerning.
No leigh or KVY which is surprising since davis only trained part of the week
No aluko or luongo. Again no experience on the bench.
Hopefully the lineup does the business inside the opening 60 minutes. |

Basically they thought if you're not in the team as a defender you wouldn't be on the bench either.

You can lol BB. But think back. We've had the likes of Jackson. Harness. Edwards etc coming on and struggling to keep hold of the ball and it put pressure on us. I think it's fair to wish we had at least 1 of the two most experienced ball players to bring on. Luongo v Burnley prime example of how he seamlessly swapped with Morsy and maintained our hold on that area of the pitch.
As I said tho. Happy with the lineup itself it should hopefully win us the game way before subs are needed. | |

I've no idea but could it be as simple as rotation ahead of a replay that McKenna has said he is really up for? I think as Stokie hinted at, JD is the perfect defender to have on the bench in that he can cover anywhere more than adequately. Quite exciting to see us looking so attacking off the bench! |  |

Donacien is 29 so brought some experience, coupled with Burgess at 27. I think Keogh is there to help the others along, as we now have an albeit talented youngster at right back.
Of course, players won't age quickly so it begs the question what this means long term for Woolfenden. It is logical, however. | |

Yes. Because being wedded to one strategy means teams will be able to learn from and counter it. There's still three forward players on that bench. There was always a risk of losing Davis today. | |
