But fat Frank back at Chelsea…. Wow.

Never thought he’d get a top flight job again, let alone back at Chelsea!

RIP Sir Bobby

Wasn't an option post Cook but had talks with Evans at one point but wasn't interested due to ( the lack of) budget.

Fare, enough..For some reason, his name was in the imaginary hat for some fans...Which I thought absurd at the time...

Roy at least has some pedigree in management.

Lampard is a truly woeful manager at PL level

Woy has at least demonstrated that he was competent before he became famous. Fat Frank is famous.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Todd Boely is like the Ted Lasso of football owners, saw Palace ***k off Viera and get Woy back and we'll do the same.

It's been a car crash since he turned up, signing players like he's playing real life Football Manager spunking milions then appointing a manager who was all about squad building with a few gems spotted by the scouting team who would fit in right away to having a massively bloated unbalanced squad of players he didn't sign that he had to try to get a tune out of.

It's obviously just so they have someone with a bit of experience to manage the last few games. Why would they get a big name manager in like Nagelsmann or Enrique now when there is nothing to play for.

Frank till the end of the season, then new manager in for preseason. No brainer really.

He did a decent job in his first full season at Chelsea, in fairness. Started 20/21 well too, then lost 1-0 at Everton (ironically) and it fell apart from there.

Think he might be another Magilton - fine when there isn’t much pressure and/or expectation.

Just wasted an hour of my life but it was worth it.
I was on the Guardian website and spotted the 'most commented' article was the Frank Lampard gets Chelsea job.
I'm quite sure that Frank won't have read those comments 'cos he'd be on his psychiatrists' couch right now.
Football trolls are the worst.
Chin up Frank, it's all downhill from here.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Always thought Potter was a poor fit for Chelsea. He's too nice.

I’m glad I support a proper club. We were that even under Evans.

Why not stick with Potter until the end of the season? I don't get why now.

I think the Chelsea owners are trying to compete a real life sticker book of players and managers.

On the wireless earlier it said since he was sacked (on his first stint as manager) Chelsea have spent £699million on buying 24 players, crazy numbers
