I don't think Braverman and the Mail were gentle or kind in their support for what are clearly racists. Indeed, in my view their behaviour is just as racist as the landlords', and it could be argued that they threw those two under a bus in an attempt to shore up the Tory vote.
And it wasn't just the dolls but the fact that they were hung from the ceiling, and the landlord made allusion to hangings in Mississippi. [Post edited 4 May 2023 15:05]
