Sorry, but not my queen.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

Do we want to do pomp well?

It always baffles me to be honest that anyone can watch it and not think wtf is this?

It's car crash viewing. Can't look away because it's just so out of place in 2023.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Don't think you get a say in it, fella.

He does

It is only if you are subservient enough to accept that someone s supposedly your 'better' that she is 'your Queen'

To me, and millions of others she is merely a citizen of this country

though I accept that still are those who feel the need to bow and scrape

It probably brings in some cash from overseas tourism. Although minimal when coronations are so far apart I suppose, so that’s probably a weak argument. I’m not interested in it but some seem to be and it’s harmless enough (the pomp I mean, as opposed to the whole idea of a hereditary monarchy).

It is all utterly bizarre and out of place, agreed.

The coverage of him meeting the plebs yesterday was painful. "it's such an honour to meet you sir" "How are you today your majesty?". Some idiot also held up his homemade 'Mummy would be proud' banner.

Tragic.

Great minds think alike!

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/may/06/strong-bladders-required-for-int

A couple of great passages from the article.

"Truss with the widest smile. She can’t believe her luck. Just 49 days in which she wrecked the country and she’s guaranteed a spot on every guestlist for life. Living the dream."

"Near the end, Prince Andrew and Harry. Andy was allowed a cape from the dressing-up box, Harry was in civvies. The message was clear: you can be accused of being a sexual predator. But don’t dare marry a black woman and spill the beans in your autobiography. Huw could barely bring himself to mention either of them."

I think Harry was in civvies because he himself chose to opt out of the "family firm", so was there simply as a family member, not as part of the RF formal coronation proceedings.

That's sounds right because according to the Mail he was at Heathrow by 1.50pm for a speedy flight to LA to make his son's birthday.

You can see why he left the freak show. Gets himself a ‘normal’ wife (albeit she’s was a celeb) and a nice family. Why wouldn’t you want to escape what looks like a thoroughly poisonous environment for a mixed-race woman of normal means. I’d have done exactly the same as him (and probably sworn more in the TV interviews!).

Ginger Tom is to dim t see what a hypocrite he is

The royal family booo, archaic and out of step with the modern world .....................but I want the titles that go with it.

And as to a normal life, the absurd behaviour of both make Marie Antoinette and her 'play' farm appear normal.

He was hijacked by a shallow social climber. She would not have looked twice were he an ordinary 'ginger'.

I suspect his family could see through what was happening, just as her side could.

Unfortunately not, they’re real. Even the one who gets his wife’s best friend to peg him and the one who had to settle claims of paedophilia out of court.

TWTD, Oprah’s dream audience.

I genuinely hope he’s happy but he’s embarrassing almost every time he speaks over here. Have you heard any of it recently?! I’m glad he’s making a lot of money though.

Just don’t get it personally.

Unelected, hereditary head of state, and multi billionaires have a load of people feigning over them - credit where it’s due, it’s the best bit of cuckolding in history.

And that golden chariot wouldn’t look out of place on TOWIE.
