There are some incredibly good bluegrass covers out there, but the basic prerequisite is that the band play in time with each other.

Gobsmacking that they uploaded that, to be honest. It should have been:

"Great! Let's watch it back."

3 minutes later...

"Right, are we going to give up on our idea of becoming big on YouTube, or are we going to get back to work and rehearse properly?"

I used to work with a guy from Tennessee called Dale who did some of the programming on Marty Stuart's album 'The Pilgrim' and lent me the CD as I was going through the early throes of separation, I think it helped. He doesn't get a name check on the Wikipedia page but that's hardly surprising when you see some of the greats of Country music listed.
