Doesn't seem a popular opinion but I'm inclined to agree. Not with the average league one at best bit as it's a bit early to say, and he could improve. But he's had a history of injuries, when he did play in the championship previously with Blackpool I know they were very underwhelmed by him, and tbh I never saw a lot from him in a Town shirt to make me think he's a player that will kick us on a level. Arguably a better option than an ageing Aluko and an inconsistent Harness, but not one that you look at and think 'yeah, he could be the difference'. He won't dislodge Chaplin or Broadhead and you wouldn't play him through the middle ahead of Ladapo. |
There is nothing to say he couldn't dislodge Chaplin or Broadhead! He's a very good young player who's never had a chance to build up a full head of steam. Just look at Chupa Akpom. | | | |

If the question is, is he decent bench/competition option for the number 9 and 10 positions as long as we can be confident he’s fit then for me he is the answer.
