Just enthralled by it - yes, it's not perfect but I have to say as much as it is agonising to watch - I'm loving Bazball and don't want it to change.

For me Bazball isn't the issue, our team just isn't good enough.

Hopefully we keep the style and some better players come through.

Batting-wise, we have not been worse than Australia. Yes, we were out cheaply today, but so were they yesterday. And that has been a feature of all three tests so far.

Where we have been worse is bowling.

Anderson is a waning force, on unfavorable pitches.
Robinson is carrying an injury and was never more than a good county bowler.
Ahmed, Tongue and Potts show promise but are very inexperienced. Remains to be seen whether any are better than a good county standard.
Stokes cannot bowl much.
Moeen is a poor spinner, and Leach little more than a placeholder.
Wood and Archer can't stay fit.
Broad can still do it, but probably has a year or two left.
Woakes is a good third pacer on English wickets, but fails outside of England.

Agree with that and I'd add that Bairstow's mistakes and low batting scores have not helped.

Bazball is entertaining, problem is Stokes is the only one who can play it

Not sure I agree with that to be honest. I think we've largely bowled well, first day at Edgbaston aside, but our fielding has let us down. They've got a strong batting line up but we've found ways to consistently make them uncomfortable and create chances. Some of the wickets we've given away, by contrast, have been really poor and not the result of especially good bowling. I think Australia are better than us in all departments to be honest, but we're making it close because of our approach. That said, our approach is also what's stopped us capitalising when we've been on top at different times across the three tests.

Playing test cricket without a wicket keeper is an utter joke.
Im certain we’d have won at least one of these tests with Foakes behind the stumps. It’s not like bairstow is scoring many runs which makes it even more of a joke decision.

Village standard fielding and keeping have ***ked us. They make 10 wicket chances and take all ten and get us all out, we have to make 14-16 to get them all out. Basic sh!t that I'd get slaughtered for in 2 Counties Division 8 let alone Test level.

Yeah, it's rubbish and over the top, so much so I can't be bothered to pick it apart properly but, for one, Leach is an integral part of how England have played over the last year.

We’re doing fairly well to compete in this series but bazball is really all we’ve got. Once the four remaining test players, root, broad, Anderson and stokes are gone I don’t know where we go as the rest are all one day or T20 players

Yes, having a spinner who can tie down an end is priceless really at test level and we don't have that with Leach missing. We actually have good quality, variety and depth in our seam bowling, imo.
