My original point/post was that when it was literally all over twitter it felt a bit bizarre not to report anything. My concern is/was that if things are only going to get reported at a similar time to official announcements then it's going to devalue the site over time (which none of us want to happen). And it wasnt a secret he was in town anyway so no there was no danger of it causing an issue just because a journo posted about it. Imo.

If it changes to 'in talks or closing in etc then it's a good sign. But I'll be surprised if we are really in for him if the club has allowed them to post about him.. what with all the risks of other clubs nipping in and stealing players due to news stories which posters have said is the reason for silence on transfer moves.

Yeah, wasn't like TWTD or EADT had speculated Taylor coming in either. Completely out of the blue that one, caught us right off guard. Some talk of 'moving on' (which probably had a semblance of truth in it anyway) only after months and months of being linked, reporting of offers turned down etc.
