Whatever you think of them, seems a bit harsh as other vloggers have been allowed to carry on in the away end. Guessing there's more to it then he's letting on.

It's up there with filming music gigs with your phone innit?
JUST FOOKIN ENJOY YOURSELF, No-one wants to see your badly recorded, poor sound quality footage.
Just checked Alex's channel and he has 43k subs and 19k views on his last video. Evidently people do watch his content. He seems to enjoy himself too.
I watched his Charlton, Peterborough and Barnsley videos last season. Enjoyable, promotes local Town businesses and engages with younger fans.
Sure, it's not for you. Largely, it's not for me. I see him as a positive for the club and the family run businesses that he promotes. I don't understand why you feel the need to get worked up about it. Not everyone is the same as you and that is okay.

It really is that strict. As far as the EFL are concerned anyway.
I've seen other clubs letting in people with massive DSLRs, where as others jump on you the second you pull any kind of camera out.
It'll be interesting to see if Alex Griffin is also cracked down on.
He’s right about how strict it is. Dan Thomas (TWTD’s designer), was positing some really good clips of our goals on Twitter, showing his view from the back of the SBRL, until the EFL got them removed towards the end of last season. Ross from the EADT was told to stop a few years back too and I don’t think he records anything pitch side during the game now. It’s a shame when it’s just a fans POV but understandable when used for commercial use (some of the well known Vloggers presumably make money from the ads on their channel and receive donations etc).

Really🙄 so you have just named a fellow fan which might drop him in it! Is There nothing the holier than thou crowd on here will not moan about?
The club have to stop random twonks filming, or they are in breach of their contract with the league. It’s pretty simple and obvious, because broadcast rights are worth a lot of money. You may have heard of that :)
YouTube channel owners are doing it to get hits and cash, and I’m amazed (or rather completely and utterly unamazed) Google don’t take down their channels and stop their usual unethical nonsense about users vs platform responsibilities.

Genuinely surprised clubs haven’t officially clamped down on the vloggers in a more public way than asking the odd bloke here and there to stop.
It basically falls under the "reaction" style content from YouTube that always stirs up drama. It usually boils down to that the person using someone else's content (in this case the football match itself) needs to add enough actual commentary to it for it to be transformative in some fashion.
If you're just standing there recording the whole thing, that's obviously not on. A few 30 second clips or whatever, doubt anyone cares.

Not my cup of tea but these things are popular.
Again.
The EFL care. I'm not sure why it is hard to grasp.
....put his phone down at Carrow Road or I'd insert it into him.
He was standing next to me and literally holding his phone up in front of my face.
He moved somewhere else.
I don't understand people who film during the match rather than just watching. Last Saturday I was sat in the Magnus Family enclosure with my grandson and during the first half for every free kick (including first goal) or corner, a woman raised her phone to film and looked at that rather than directly watching the action. Bonkers..and very annoying for us sat behind her!

Off topic, you need to watch griffins latest vlog (Stoke game) see if you recognise anyone from the pre match interviews… In particular the guy that can’t sing boncho’s song 👀
