We robbed QPR of 1m for Dozzell. Definately got more than he is worth. For where he was, his contract, and what we got, Downes was a good deal.
The majority of the players we've bought pre-gamechanger/post-MM have had very little resale value. That we can sell a 28yo player who started 3 league games and played 430 mins in League 1 for 100-250k is pretty good. [Post edited 22 Aug 2023 20:34]

Wouldn't be surprised if it was a free transfer. He signed with us after a great season and could comfortably have been first choice. Then he's found himself on the bench and played his role as a back up with no fuss. Seems a good guy.
Maybe we're just not standing in his way so he can go and play first team football? |  |

Undisclosed........ I'm speculating, but if we got 100k plus a promotion add on. That wouldn't be too bad for a player who cost nothing, has hardly featured, and has less than a year left on his contract..Not to mention a patchy injury history.
