Nah you can see the prem pedigree in him. There was a moment its not even an attribute with the ball but he took out 2 reading players with a simple drop of shoulder some form of spin jumpy thing over the ball and fed Baggott with the ball.

I was one of those  However he did play midfield for us and seems better suited to a defender.....  haha

He's not had a nightmare start. He's been a bit unlucky and hasn't had a brilliant start. But a big difference. He's feeling his way in and was incredibly unlucky with the OG last night. 60 mins will have done him the world of good. He'll need another couple of games to be up to speed and we have a very good player on our hands. | |

I always had a theory that Chelsea sent him here with a stipulation that he had to play defensive midfield to improve his ball playing abilities - he was always clearly a brilliant defender and I could never understand why Lambert never dropped him back on account of them.

McEverley was very highly rated prior to having a serious leg break. Had broken into the Blackburn team and was an outstanding England youth international. We got him off the back of that injury and he was never the same player again. | | | |

McEveley? According to Wiki he made 19 appearances. I saw the home games he played in and he looked ordinary from day one to the day he left. Other than hair colour I don’t see any similarity to Williams. |  | | |
