Usually managers etc are harping on about the number of games played n the Championship and what a slog it becomes. Here we are in the situation where I am hoping that the players can’t wait to play their brand of football and they have really missed the enjoyment of playing.
Ring rust? I prefer eager anticipation of playing in a joyful footballing side.

Their recent matches have seen them lose to Leeds, Stoke and Leicester, but win 4 and draw 1 of the rest. I will expect them to be difficult to beat. As you say, a point wouldn't be a bad result but we will be looking to win every game the way we are playing. |  |

Am I being overly confident saying that I'd be disappointed with anything other than 3 points? We've started like a train and have a never say die attitude. I'm all for us going there for 3 points and keeping the pressure on Leicester (not that we'll catch them - they're a class above so far this season). They seem an unhappy camp, the team they’ve assembled is alright for the Championship, home is always an advantage, we’re coming off both an international break and a postponement, so it may be a game where we have to find ourselves again. Burns being out is a bummer but Jackson has been great so it shouldn’t affect us that badly. | | | |
