You seem really upset that people aren't as upset as you. At the end of the day, there's loads of so-called celebrities stealing a living and the gist of your OP is correct - but I'd go much further than politicians when it comes to people who shouldn't be earning big sums.
At the end of the day, though, there's nothing we can do about it. The company who make this programme are a private company who can hire who they please. And they want well-known faces that will get bums on sofas, which these appointments do (regardless of if you or anyone else likes them - in fact people love a villain, and love to see them put in horrible situations).
The makers could put more deserving people in the show - nurses, perhaps? Teachers? And guess what, no-one would watch it. | |
