Really was a lifetime ago.

God a win is long, long overdue.

Lived in 4 countries
Both parents passed away
Went from teaching to Finance to a charity to retirement.

And 3 days after this was the 20 year Hillsborough anniversary. Was half term so went up to Anfield and sat on kop when the cries for justice shamed Andy Burnham.

The next day he went to cabinet where Gordon Brown agrees to release all the docs on Hillsborough, a process that led to new inquests, an unlawful killing verdict and (failed) prosecutions of a number of police.

Done a bit of travelling, met a nice woman who is keeping me on the straight and narrow.

Rode a few motorbikes in Nigeria, Namibia, Peru and quite a few European runs.

- 3 x shoulder operations
- 1 x set of twins
- 1 x dog
- 1 x fiancé
- Mum going through and beating cancer just before the twins were born
- Finally cutting off someone in my life who I realised was toxic. It's the only person I've ever actively done that to. Turns out a few years later, one of my best mates was out with him, he got drunk and proceeded to punch my mate in the face... twice... from behind... The reason? My friend was trying to get him back to their air bnb as he was all over the place. If ever I had any doubts about my decision, that cemented it. Sorry, went on a bit of an offload there!

My career as one of the best podcasters in the world has blossomed. That is probably the main thing.

I've left a company and rejoined the same company with a 5 year break. Been a stepfather to 2 boys who are now young men for 9 years. Moved about a bit. Helped my family move to France. Quite a lot really.

Got divorced
Died (for 12 minutes apparently)
Several jobs
Moved up to the smoke
Lost my Dad
gained 4 nephews
Thought I'd seen the end of the ITFC I knew
Found some piece, and my football club

To think there were people not born then who are not far off being adults now.

Became founder and president of the Capital Blues.
