Vague recollections of mixing Guinness and Barley Wine,…..not entirely sure it was a good idea.

Cobnut and Double Stout ( Tolly Cobbold )

For a short time in the 1960s, Tolly Cobbold produced an infamous lager known as Husky Brew, which John Cobbold himself compared to a dog's urine.

Sophisticated Keno aged 16 had a day trip to France on a cross channel ferry. Leaving post at 7 for a 4 hour crossing on finding the restaurant busy went to the bar for something French

Pernod and black, followed by a fry up on a rough ferry was not perhaps the best idea ever

Went to Buckfast Abbey a couple of days ago, near Tavistock.

The drink of my youth was light and bitter, if you wanted to really make somewhere rancid the following day then Old Bob and Bitter.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

That is still a very fashionable drink in the housing schemes of Scotland. Pretty much a right of passage to drink a bottle of Bucky in a swing park and then throw up at the age of eleven.
