So….what are the positives you take from today? on 14:31 - Dec 23 with 2375 views | gainsboroughblue | It's finished and we don't have to listen to Hinchcliffe again today. Still 7 points ahead and don't play Leeds again. Game almost immediately on Boxing Day to put things right, so minimum dwelling on it. Wake up call maybe? Now going into transfer window and knowing where we need to strengthen. Morsy didn't get booked.

Make sure we don't put in a performance like that against the lower sides.

Morsey being able to play against Leicester is pretty much it today I think. Over the season, heck even over the last month there is so much more but today was disappointing all round. [Post edited 23 Dec 2023 14:37]

McK hopefully knows how to change tactics. If playing defensive is needed so be it. I’d rather get 1 point by playing ugly than 0 and getting ripped apart by a better team trying to play our brand of football

There's a manager in the studio who took that approach. Was very popular here too...

Not every week ffs just against opponents you know we can’t win in an open game. Look at how Rotherham, Sheff Wed, Coventry etc took points off Leeds. Obviously we didn’t learn from our defeat at PR. The best teams can play both offensive and defensive depending on who the opponent is.
So….what are the positives you take from today? on 14:45 - Dec 23 with 2019 views | BigCommon | Honestly don't think you can take many positives at all, tbf... Really bad day at the office against a virtual Prem' quality side , one of the best coaches in this Division, at their place, and who played well As always, in life. It's how you react to days like today, that matters more... They need to pull themselves together like men do. Don't play the victim and start blaming refs and bad luck, its never a good look. Take this one on the chin. And come out fighting in the next game... It's done now. No need to dwell on it...

True. He'll pick up his yellow on Boxing Day in a display of midfield dominance which will see us beat Leicester - and the normal run of 4 straight wins after a defeat will have begun and our captain won't be walking on eggshells for at least another 10 matches. No need for any loss of sleep let alone panic. COYB
So….what are the positives you take from today? on 15:13 - Dec 23 with 1833 views | Churchman | There are no positives to take from this in my view. There’s no disguising it. We were taken to the cleaners. I watched Leeds outplay Leicester who’ve battered everyone else. We are a long way short of Leeds and I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we get anywhere with Leicester too. Hardly surprising given the 10s of millions spent by these clubs. Teams are now settled into the season, especially the parachute sides, and the second half of the season will be a lot tougher, as it often is for newly promoted clubs. But we have points on the board. McKenna is doing a brilliant job and the team has had an excellent first half to the season. The club is doing so much right. It’s growing. KM needs patience and support to build/improve the team. We’ll get there. Edit: Despite my negativity in the first two paragraphs (apols) I’m actually not disheartened. One poor game doesn’t make us a bad team. We are not. [Post edited 23 Dec 2023 15:17]
