Blackburn rejected £18.5m for Wharton 13:23 - Jan 25 with 2976 viewsElderGrizzly

I knew he had potential etc but, wow...

Selling him would also negate the need to move on anyone else for them from a financial perspective.

Their owners are struggling to get money out of India, but assume this would be enough to not need to move on Gallagher for example this window.

Also depends where these funds end up. In Blackburn or an account in Delhi.

If anything I think it would help in our pursuit of Gallagher.

Means they can then spend money on a striker they actually want, rather than keeping a striker they don't particularly want to keep other than just to keep the fans on side at the minute.

If the case that way, they''ll get the watford striker and we'll get gallagher which is the perfect signing this window

Potentially. Depending on how much they actually see of the £20m+ it looks like it will take to get him.

Also when it goes through. This looks like a deadline day deal as Palace get more desperate.

Lovely technically, but Luongo and Morsy ran all over him at Portman Road.

Feel like it’s time for Palace to be relegated. Their Holmesdsle ultras are probably bored and would prefer some championship days out.

Don't believe it for one moment the Indians at Blackburn would have bit there hands off. Probably most of the fee was add ons and little up front.
