have Plymouth changed their style to their ways under Schumacher, I thought they pressed pretty aggressively under 'Schuey'?

Both teams look head and shoulders above the opposition this weekend. We struggled to break down WBA home and away but look how Southampton took them apart with ease at The Hawthorns. I dread to face either one of them in the playoffs if we fall short.

Let’s see if we find some consistency in the final stretch of the season to attack the autos. The only way we can sneak into second is to match their form and wait for one of them to drop points when they play each other / play Leicester.

At our best we can go toe to toe with both Leeds and Saints - our players might not be quite at their level, but our teamwork and our direction from the bench is superior. If we can be at or near our best for the rest of the season, we're still in with a decent shout.

It's a bit like fans of Man C, Arsenal, Liverpool hoping the other slip up in the Prem. Unlikely to do so but having to take absolute advantage when they do.

Plymouth give the ball away cheaply deep in their own half. 30 seconds later, thank you and goodnight.

Argyle had done a bit better without threatening too much but let’s face it, Leeds have wiped the floor with them. Leeds: Ugly club, arrogant ugly supporters but eight straight wins says it all.

From the BBC live feed at 64 mins:

"It looks like their battle for second place with Southampton is going to go the distance."

We're not even mentioned in passing!

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

Even if we finished second we wouldn’t get a mention.

The comparative goal differences are really starting to stand out. It really is a case of what will be, will be from my perspective. We've done insanely well. I'll be happy to go into a play-off scenario in some decent form knowing we've pushed these two for so long.

I'll be fairly relaxed about the play-offs too, unless we play a certain side in yellow. Thankfully, our players aren't as battle scarred as us fans.

I want Leeds in the playoff final, they would be ultra complacent and all the pressure would be on them.

It’s because they keep trading places over the last few games , we are kept at bay by their consistency , as we kept them at bay during our consistently, cost us dearly at present ……long way to go .

It would be sweet to ram the 8-3 etc comments down their throats.

I'd also back McK to get it right against them third time of asking.

Realistically no way we are getting 2nd, our form last 10 games has not helped and the relegated sides are relentless now. Certainly taken play offs at start of the season but who'll be there Soton or Leeds?

It is getting to the stage where we have to settle for a play-off place.

Unspeakable before our dismal run.

We just have to hope that NCFC start going backwards again, as they are our current bogey team.

Anything can happen in play-offs. Anything can happen in derby games. So they say.

Joe Royle summed all that up.to a tee.

They've put eight past us this season, so given a ridiculous choice i think I'd take a one off game at Wembley than over two legs..

Sure, that's why they would be complacent.

I'd back McKenna not to repeat the mistakes in the 4-0 horror show and set us up to counter rather than look to dominate possession.

Can’t see it. They look Taylor made to hurt us with the way they play. I would give us more chance against Southampton. But before that, let’s see how well we can do in the remaining games and see where we finish.

Southampton lost on Tuesday. Leeds were looking relentless when they beat us 4-0 off the back of a good run, they then had a couple of back to back defeats in games you'd expect them to win. There's plenty of twists and turns still to come and we are still well in the race. Disappointing to see the defeatist attitude of some of our fans.

It's almost as if finishing 4th would be some sort of failure.
