If a law had been inadvertantly broken & not spotted by the match officials at the time, there should be an equalizing law which says that the stupidest error made by the ref should be nullified. In other words, their penalty should have been ruled out. |  |

Yeah. The reasoning behind it is the team who have the concussed player get an additional sub as part of player protection, and to prevent an unfair advantage (e.g. an extra player with fresh legs) the opposition get an extra sub too |  | | |

Looks like it's ok. I was panicking reading that there was annoyance trial not extended however this was for temp subs. Looks like perm concussion subs is a thing now. Didn't know this full rule to be honest!!
