Some boy and some player as well.

If he gets booked on Saturday and we go up, would he have a ban next season?

Apparently not, yellows don't roll over. I think a red would, though.

What a player, what a captain.

I swear he gets better with every game.

Watching ‘Town in 25’ from the Exeter game. He leads us out of the dressing room, meets up with his mascot, and also his daughter, who says to the other little girl, ‘That’s my Dad’. Hope she’s there on Saturday!

He reminds me of when I used to play football in the park with my mates, then the lad who's a couple of years older who lives down the street walks over, joins your team and you know you're going to be ok.

So mature, so sensible, so dialed in. It’s basically like having KM on the pitch. With some added violence, of course

It's like when Hoddle joined Swindon and Gullit joined Chelsea.

Just looked like adults playing an U16's game.

Absolute superstar.
He fully deserves to lead this team to the promised land.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Good to hear. He's spot on - we can't let the emotion of just one win overtake us. It takes us nearer, but will be meaningless if we're not bang on our game and finish the job on Saturday (unless S'ton do us a favour). Some people seem to be celebrating as if we're up already.

Notice him picking out Sarmiento. Make him feel 10 foot tall.

That is what managers do, it is what KM does regularly. They really are all reflections of KM.

A captain, a leader, a brain of the team. That's what the team had missed throughout the years prior to his arrival.

He epitomises this team. Never give up attitude. We are truly blessed to have that type of skipper.

We've obviously had some world class captains over the years (England captains amongst them) but I can't really think there are any who were better than Sam. I know there's more to the modern game and more exposure with the media these days, but Sam seems to be most excellent in all aspects of his captaincy from his bridge between manager and players (not that much is needed there perhaps) to his inspirational leadership on the pitch and ability to dominate whilst walking a tightrope. Plus the superb, articulate and humble PR work in interviews and his connection to the fans.

For me, he's the best. I love him.

Bang on. Couldn't agree more. Once he's left us it might be a bit hard to find a similar character.
