Leeds look absolutely shot to pieces.... 12:21 - May 12 with 4176 viewsBloots

....totally clueless.

A total shadow of earlier this season.

Why do you think their results dropped off a cliff at the end of the season? They'd been on an insane run of form for 3 or 4 months but we won 9 out of 10 after a mini blip in December and January and they couldn't shake us. The chase and trying to keep up with us and Leicester has really taken its toll. They were broken by the time they got to Loftus Road.

There is that... I forgot we had won 9 out of 10 at that point.. we were also lucky that the 2 week break didn't go too badly against us too... Doesn't matter now, as we are premier league!!

How the heck did we lose to them twice? They look like a league one team so far.

At their best I think they're the best team in the Championship this season. But when they fall apart, boy do they fall apart. Things are either going for them or they're not.

Feel like Nodge are gradually wasting an opportunity to get ahead of the game here. For all the 'dominance', not a great deal has been created and it's still level.

They have pace and strength going forward, with good quality players. We play an open style which opens the door to those players on a good day.

That’s probably right. Although we did catch them very early on at PR when they still had Sinisterra and they basically tore as apart down our right for 20 minutes. Clarke looked like a fish out of water, but then he did on a few occasions and even if fully fit I don’t think he would’ve been our preferred option. I think the plan was clearly for Williams to play there, then Axel did a good job in the run in.

The away game was a bit of a car crash, but again there’s mitigating circumstances. Don’t get me wrong it was a hiding in the end , but it’s fine lines isn’t it. Uncharacteristically bad defending on an early set piece, a pretty avoidable OG, Chaplin hits the post, a cheap penalty and its game over. Those sorts of games you’ve got to keep yourself in, especially with our ability to finish strongly, as we did twice against Leicester.

If we played Leeds at Wembley next week I’d really fancy us. Well maybe not next week, our players will still be p1ssed.

They’ve clearly got a lot of quality hence their results over the season, but the run in and perhaps this afternoon makes you wonder if they’re mentally strong enough. Look like complete bottle jobs any time any sort of pressure is applied on them.

They look completely broken. They could do with a Morsy in the middle.

If there was ever a club that over egged periods of ‘dominance’.

It was fine lines even at their place. The score wasn't close, but they clinically finished good chances and we didn't. 2nd half was pretty even and even the first was fine margins

Awful game so far. So lacklustre. Leeds look in bits. There for the taking. Norwich are not exactly ripping it up either. Maybe the excitement of the tear up bus parade took it out of them.

Can imagine some suitors being put off by paying £30 plus mil for Summerville over the summer. Not been in it and doesn't seem overly bothered.

I agree. The result often dictates the narrative but the reality is a lot of our games have been fine lines. Most of those we lost and a lot of those we won too. There’s a number of objectively lesser sides who we outplayed, but a lot of the games against the top half were tight affairs.

So glad we're not involved. Both sets of fans must be absolutely bricking it. Norwich need to make more of their possession, the offside and penalty shout were both very close. Summerville and Rutter must appear at some time in the match you'd imagine. Gnoto could get a red, being a bit of a dick and is just one dive away.

Longer it goes on, I fancy Leeds to nick it.

A lot is made of Nodge's good performances. They waxed lyrical about the derby performance but they hardly caned us and we didn't even turn up.

Sounds like a morgue compared to what a semi-final should be like.

They really are a bunch of limited cloggers, aren’t they? Take away the flat track bully and there’s not a lot left. Probably better for us if they knock Leeds out though and then maybe we could raid Leeds for a couple of their better players.

Now it’s settled down a bit, it feels like this is how our match there would have gone had Vaz kept out that free kick. Cagey and low on chances.

And full of very soft decisions in the yellow direction. They clearly train / set up to dive at the faintest contact.

We broke Leeds.

That's my take on it,
Deep down they knew we weren't stopping or ever giving up pressure tells,
Just grinded them down once they had there little spell in front of us,
They bottled it, we played with no pressure ever,
Some of our late late goals killed them,
Glad we're up but I thought we'd win the playoffs anyway,

Do you mean a shadow of when they were still only third most of the time?

I’m slightly confused from a season of Sky coverage in which they were presented as some kind of all conquering football machine.

Like the saints it took a huge effort to peg us and Leicester back that form was never going to last,
We had I think 7 league games between hirst getting injured and Moore coming,
If hirst wasn't injured our form wouldn't have wobbled so much Leeds and saints wouldn't have got near us,
