United to carry out review next week on 21:58 - May 25 with 4600 views | Bossy | I think there is a chance ETH stays but if he does go and they get someone else, then McK misses out on the Chelsea job for example, I wonder how he would feel about doing next year with us. Interesting times.

Brighton the one still to worry about I think, just can’t see Utd going for someone like McKenna right now to be honest, maybe that’s the blue tinted specs. I’m hopeful with the choice between us and Brighton he’d choose us.

Seems like it's us or Brighton. Surely we could fend them off with a decent new contract?

Doubt money is the issue. Will be more about the opportunity to do things there now that will take 3 years to do here

But, in exchange, having very little control over transfer policy.

He has a great job here, no interference from owners, brings in his own players, a fan base that now gives him so much credit in the bank that he probably wouldn't get anywhere else now....yet, I still think he feels he's taken us as far as he can sadly.. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

other way round for me, utd big possibility, Brighton not. Dont get people caning McK for waiting to see if his old club come in for him and keeping his lips sealed while he waits

Still cannot think he'd walk out on everything we achieved just for Brighton. I think it's Man Utd or Ipswich now.

I don't think Chelsea want him. He'd be mad to take Brighton, they have peaked, very little chance to enhance his reputation there. Utd could well stick with ETH.

Expectations will be higher there though. They sold their best players last season. It's unlikely he would outperform what De Zerbi did in finishing 6th. It would be a crap move.

More chance to enhance his reputation with us than Brighton. If he stays and finishes 17th with us, it would enhance his reputation more than if he left and finished 10th with Brighton.

United to carry out review next week on 23:30 - May 25 with 3363 views | textbackup | Quality. We get to wait around like a 6/10 in a nightclub while the bloke we had lined up is talking to a 9/10 at the bar just incase she’ll go home with him. And if she fcks him off, he’s still got to pass 7.2/10 (Brighton) on the staircase before he gets in the taxi with us. [Post edited 25 May 2024 23:33]

So what you are saying is we should get legless all summer long, wait until 10 minutes before the first game of the season and appoint either Fat Sam or Steve Evans?

I mean, it could work. I’d rather that then being dangled on the edge for another 7-10 days. I originally thought fair play, MUFC are massive and all that. Now I fcking hate them all, and every part of this

You forgot that she has her tits out whilst talking to the 9/10 and has already been to the bogs with the 7.2/10 earlier whilst you were buying her a bottle of Belvidere for the VIP area she asked you to sort.

All that, whilst 6/10 was sat at home making him a nice sandwich ready ready when he got home. The 6/10 that had the potential to become an 8, even a 9… given the right confidence from this supposed hero

United to carry out review next week on 06:18 - May 26 with 2602 views | LegendofthePhoenix | So with a review "next week" and the clock ticking, its looking more and more likely that Kieran is gonna have to get off the fence. If he keeps waiting and then doesn't get offered the MU job, he is in a weaker position to negotiate with either us or Brighton. Right now, with Ed Schwartz in town, there must be a new contract waiting for him to sign. Ed Schwartz is no muppet, and surely KM can't just sit it out for several days more without that contract offer being retracted. I'd expect a new contract to have a buyout clause close to £20M. If ETH is being given another year at Utd, then Kieran signs his new contract and if he goes in a year's time, we get a decent amount of compensation. Would be v surprised if he chose Brighton at this stage.

I thought we were waiting around in the nightclub? Did we get bored and go home to make the sandwich? Also, wouldn't it have been better to pick up a kebab on the way home than make a sandwich? No wonder he's talking to the 9/10 at the bar if we're making him sandwiches instead of picking u[ a decent lamb doner with garlic sauce.

It would be a very hard headed 'cut your nose off...' decision to retract a contract offer from the hottest managerial property around. This is a game of patience. The transfer window doesn't open for a few weeks, there's time for this to be sorted sensibly and to mutual benefit.
