Lucky no one jumped to any conclusions then…. 17:11 - May 27 with 3681 viewsJohn_Warks_Willy

….or ripped to shreds the character of the guy who’s given us the best two years ever (for my generation and younger anyway!).

That would be embarrassing wouldn’t it.

Yeah some people pooped the bed.

But let's move on and get behind them all once more because GTFI he is staying.

just the usual suspects, who probably reacted the same way after Bristol Rovers.

It will be the same lot who will start demanding Ashton, McKenna give all the details of what did occur in the last 2 weeks. Then if they do give those details the same lot will start along the lines of 'I don't believe them'

Anyone questioning McKenna and Ashton doesn't deserve them.

Never said anything nasty about him or questioned it, but I will admit I thought we had lost him. So happy I was way off and we are keeping Super Kieran McKenna.

Poll: New hobby suggestions for NeedhamChris.

I don't think that's fair.

Lots of people were disappointed in the public auction, myself included. I agree the people saying "I hope he's booed "etc were are well wide of the mark in my view - but we can both be very happy it looks like he's staying and somewhat disappointed about how the last 7 days played out.

We have most definitely got the right result in the end though and MA and the board again showing us their commitment and abilities to get extremely tough deals done. Well done to MA, Schwartz & co.

I don' think many serious posters questioned his character more of how they'd feel depending on what job he took if any right now.

Let's also be careful on the side of we still don't know what the truth is. So you cant really say people jumped to conclusions. Did he try and leave or was it all agent lead.. truth is who cares now.

I don't think many (if any did), quite a few questioned the way his agents conducted the whole affair in public.

I'm really hoping the budgies do that countdown clock where each day they say how many more days we have left in the division, only for them to quietly bin it at Christmas time.

Anyway, this appears to be great news for us which I think it worth at least 6 places in the Premier League. Let's see.

Worth pointing out that the 'auction' unedifying as it was, was carried out pretty much entirely by third parties. KM himself has kept a dignified silence throughout.

...much rather it Brighton than Chelsea or Man U, both horrible, scummy clubs and jobs he's probably not quite ready(but definitely skilled enough) for.

Though, for what it's worth, I have a sneaking suspicion that he'll stay and, after a shaky start, keep us up.

So there.

Now, tell me about your favourite cheeses.

Not really that dignified that he's nearly left twice tho is it Badger. Great thats he's stayed of course. But think he needs to stop the whole I love it here stuff. It's obviously just a job ( which is normal ) He's now a ridiculously paid manager, well earned of however. But let's not just ignore he's easily lead away from the club it appears but then something stops it happening.. ££££?

There was a very small minority saying he should be sacked or put on gardening leave. There were also posts questioining his integrity. A small number but they are now made to look even more stupid.

Shouldn't you be off washing some soiled undies at this point?

By this definition Keno has 'nearly' slept with Jenna Coleman.

More great news is that the rest of us can come on this forum again without being bombarded with endless bed wetting and nonsense from the worryingly high amount of d1ckheads who had taken over this place the past week.

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

For all smug posts - no-one else wants to read how you correctly predicted the flip of a coin. The rest of us are too busy celebrating...

6 places, nothing like putting pressure on a manager ,if we finish above the bottom 3 it will a good season

I thought he was gone.

And would have been really disappointed if he’d gone to Chelsea or Brighton.

If this gets confirmed we won’t do anything better this summer.

Suffolk Gold. I bought some in Bury yesterday. I love Baron Bigod as well. Bigod, I’m pleased he’s staying.

To be honest, there won't much any of us could do and very few knew anything.

It's not even been confirmed he's staying and until it is, I'm not counting any chickens.....

I did think he was going to go, and I think there must have been something in it. He might even have wanted to go but somethings happened? No1 really knows (yet!)

Not really. I don't think I'm of those who acted in the specific manner that you speak of. But hey ho.

And you're 2nd point. I'm assuming you've decided to ignore what Phil etc has said about palace etc.

Either way. We can all be happy. But let's not ignore he's clearly not here for the long haul if he actually gets the offer he wants.
