Croft was quite average & his career was affected by injuries. I don't think his mishaps with the law had a huge effect. He made a poor decision & paid the penalty.
Williams seems to have far more in the way of "issues" & any club signing him will be aware of this & won't be paying him anything near £65k a week. However, with the right guidance & attitude, he's young enough to get his career back on track. |  |
