Look, can we stop linking non domestic players until AFTER we sign a Dutch player?

We're in the prem, those be the rules.

I don't undertsand the enthusiasm some have for BBD - my extensive research (Match of the Day plus a bit of Wiki) leads me to believe that he isn't the quality of finisher needed for the Premier League.
Hirst and Al-Hamadi (he'll be our version of Jamie Vardy this season) before this guy - but a new striker too, please.

6 goals in 14 for a dire Sheff Utd side isn't to be sniffed at. Suggest you watch a compilation of his Blackburn goals on Youtube too. Fantastic finisher and very mobile. An upgrade on Hirst (who I hugely rate to step up too).

Those lot up north are foreign to me - anything beyond the A1 Junction 17 services near Peterborough is as good as abroad.

We’ll have no Chileans at my club thank you very much.

Haha, appreciate you making an exception for me 🙏🏻

Was at the Chile game last night actually. BBD came on for the last 20, lost every aerial duel and then missed an absolute sitter at the end when played in by Alexis. Think Chile would benefit massively from McKenna coaching him for a year or two!

Poll: Will Town score again this season?

Always make an exception for you as you are exceptional
Soooo he’s back in Gareca’s plans again.. must have picked up a bit of the lingo … looking forward to next Friday for el Classico del pacificó..with the extra spice of your DT doing an Ipswich to Norwich type move … I tell ya it’s bitter here with that .. he was so beloved.

I can imagine - he did a fantastic job for Peru. Has transformed Chile very quickly to be fair, as they were absolutely toothless before he came in but now they've got a bit of attacking swagger back. Next Friday will be a tough test, Peru have a good side and I think a lot of Chileans underestimate them.

Not sure he's picked up too much of the lingo. Watching Gareca give him instructions before he came on was pretty entertaining, as there was a lot of gestures and body language trying to bridge the gap. Think Gareca wants to keep him around as he's a completely different option as a 'battering ram' type forward off the bench, but he's been pretty clear that Brereton won't be a central part of the team until he's seen as at least putting in the effort to try and learn the basics of the language.

Indeed. He has an impressive record, especially for a poor team in the PL, but most interesting was when I watched his highlight reels. What I like about BBD is that he strikes the ball first time. he doesn't control it, and then hit it with second touch. It's always first time bang. Now I know they only show the ones that go in on the reels, so there will be more that miss than go in, but the PL is much faster than we are used to and my big concern is that far too often, our existing strikers like to take a touch first before hitting it. Chappers (and Omari, sheds tear.) are the best 1stbtime ball strikers , but even Chappers often takes a touch first. IMHO, that is what makes the difference between getting a shot on goal or having the ball whipped off your toes in the PL.

Poll: would you rather

I like the fact you made a typo on the word 'type'.

A vicar, a priest and a rabbit entered a blood donor clinic.

Somewhat surprised the nurse asked the rabbit “what blood type are you?”

To which the rabbit replied - “I think I’m a type O”
