I think it's a testament to how far we've come as well as you why I've poo pooed the idea.
League 1 and even first Champ season, then yes. Premier League though and it's now a no thanks.

Even on a free transfer, he’d require wages, which would be a waste of funds, in my opinion. If he was on loan to a lower league side, they’d probably want us to pay the major proportion of that, so I can’t see it happening, in the hope that we get a fee for him when he moves on. Doesn’t seem our operating model. Our players have improved by working with KM day in day out. |  |

I don't want our club to be like Chelsea and Man City and just hoover up all the talent to keep them away from other clubs and then just loan them out. JJ should get a permanent deal with a Championship of League One club if that is his level. | | | |

At 23 and not having really made an impression anywhere I don't believe TJJ can fall under the "young English striker" as you've labelled him.
He wouldn't have played much last year, would be a waste of a squad place this year so I would be very surprised if it was one we did.
