I've heard from about 3 different non credible sources we are looking at de gea. Now that's definitely not going to happen however I would like to see some one experienced at prem level in that position. Think it's a really important role to have strong leadership in, can't immediately identify someone that's as good as vaz was with their feet that also fits and improves us more broadly.
Did think that Georgian gk was decent but no idea where he plays his club football. Most of the players at the euros I'm clueless about after a 2 year absence from football manager. | | | |

That's not how signings work. There is often weeks of work going into a signing, perhaps even months of low key contact.
The recruitment team will be spinning many plates and Downes will either be on a list or he won't be. Of course most of the focus will be on the more imminent signings, but they will be doing the rest in the background. | | | |
