This really isn’t hard. He obviously wasn’t an innocent victim, but there are also rules that as a law enforcement officer you can’t go round stamping on people’s heads.

Correct
Have they however been arrested for their part in this or is the heat only on the officer?

No idea, sorry. I’m not really bothering with it any more, as it seems to have been polarised/politicised like everything else these days. He hopefully will be charged.

Who suggested they might be innocent victims? I haven't seen that here or elsewhere.
Not seen the words.
But until this evening. Why has nothing been said about the assaults they made.
I get the follow up isn't great and rightfully is talked about. But that's separate. Why were their original attacks on the police swept under the carpet.

There's enough of this in the other thread.
I don't profess to know many police officers, but the one I do wouldn't particularly enjoy your insinuation that her sex is a factor in how her colleagues might react (or treat her), especially in the way this soon-to-be-ex copper does. I
t's very old fashioned and, frankly, I would think quite insulting to suggest it.

I imagine the full video has only just been made available so it wasn't a case of sweeping under the carpet. The new video looks like cctv, the original was from a mobile phone.

The officer takes out a seriously violent scumbag, and we are talking seconds after he’s punched every officer there, he feels the boot is needed. Get him back to work, with a pay rise.

Because it doesn't suit their innocent victim agenda... The smart phone wielding member of the public who filmed it was eager to paint a picture, without showing any context as to why the officer may have acted the way he did, albeit excessively...
The original video points fingers at law enforcement, the new video, which is CCTV footage paints a different story.. but, doesn't suit the agenda of the person who filmed the tail end of it... But hey, law enforcement are all bad, blah blah..

You've had thought MPs etc would have waited to see the full footage before taking to parliament their disgust at the policeman's actions and how sorry they are to the victims.

Exactly that... But, it would then be against their agenda wouldn't it.. it would add mitigation, as to why the officer acted the way he did... I'm not for one minute condoning what the officer did, as it was certainly excessive, as the guy had been tasered.. up until that point, reasonable force was used... After that point it wasn't..

Ah I see The guy wiped all 3 Babylon out so they decided to tase him and kick his teeth down his throat for good measure

I dont think anyone denies the perpetrator was also violent, not that the full force of the law should be thrown at them but equally once apprehended, on the floor, post being tasered, he should not be being kicked in the head and stomped on by the police in what based on that can only be seen as an act of revenge and nothing more

The "victim" still assaulted 3 police officers... But that's ok, right?! Fact they tasered him was right and reasonable use of force at that point, as a result of his actions...
Fact that the officer then did what he did is out of order and NOT use of reasonable force.. he is rightly being investigated. It really isn't hard to understand or grasp is it?!
Or are you anti law enforcement and can't or won't acknowledge that the "victim" deserved to be dealt with in an appropriate manner, based on the fact he assaulted 3 police officers?

As I said at the time, great work from him.
100% this only criticism is that he didn’t dish out a bigger beating. Well done that man. Policing how it should be.

No idea of there names I'm not that into politics.
Just saw earlier when the video went out of the cctv footage. Some quoting mp tweets who had written messages of support to the family and caught one who stood up in Parliament.
