So another 40-45m I think we will spend.

If we spend 20 million on another striker (Lath) that’s our budget potential gone for the Left sided player. So essentially we have spent 35 million on two strikers and only one can play. Just can’t see it for that reason alone. Think we will fill the spot with a free or a loan. Latte Lath was my top pick before the window opened. If we break the bank and get him and the others we are gonna be spending upwards of 120m and can’t see that although not impossible. [Post edited 14 Aug 2024 23:21]

He could be used on the right and can play there, but I think we are going to use him as a 9 predominantly. If Hirst was fit it wouldn’t be impossible to see Delap right and Hirst 9 though your right. Budget wise though, I just can’t see us spending big on another no 9. | |

I'm gutted if you think you think we won't go for another good striker which costs money Phil . Delap is far from oven ready and as you would admit without Hirst our strength up front is in a worse position than championship sides at present. No good bringing in players because there free or cheap if there not up to the task. | | | |
