I asked folk on here when he signed if they saw him end of last season. Some of his play looked like it needed investigating by the spot gambling commission! He had a lot of absolute howlers, just like today. Not writing him off of course, hopefully he'll improve under McKenna. |  |

Trafford was injured which is why Muric got game time end of season. I think.

You're right. Trafford had originally been signed to replace Muric because he is better with his feet, that suited the way Kompany wanted to play. Music only got his place back due to Traffords injury.
Kompany obviously didn't think he could play from the back; hopefully he's proved wrong but I fear not. Even great managers sign dodgy keeper's, look at Fergusons record over the years. | | | |

Muric took a step to his right as the shot came off to give himself a chance of being able to save it of Haaland went far post and instead the ball was whipped back perfectly into the few inches of the goal Muric couldn’t get to due to the momentum of taking that step.
It was a perfectly placed and timed shot. Very little you can do as a keeper there. | | | |
