Thought his behaviour yesterday was disgraceful, completely lacked class after city equalised. Nothing wrong with a bit of needle during a game but first throwing a ball at the back of gabriel head and then calling Jesus a f******g clown, my guess is that he's not religious

Why didn't he get punished for that?

yeap and it made the City players' comments about Arsenal being dirty even more tricky to swallow.

Good luck Arse - think you've got under their skin, so part way there.

Except it's city so they can get away with whatever behaviour they want with no real punishment

Expect to see PL players throwing the ball at Haaland giving the refs a hard decision to make.

What happened to Keown in that Van Nistelrooy penalty miss incident, in regards to punishment? Did he face any punishment?

You might be onto something - I remember he also had a problem with Conor Chaplin and Christian Walton

Hardly set a good example by Guardiola kung-fu kicking a no doubt very expensive chair in fury. Supposed to be a top, professional manager but isn't even in control of himself. I despise them.

Definitely not acceptable by Haaland, but I really enjoyed the needle in the match yesterday. Arsenal and their time wasting antics came back and bit them on the back side, which I was pleased about. What surprised me most was City for all their good players really didn't have any idea how to break Arsenal down. Who'd have thought constantly passing the ball back across the field, from to side to side would have no impact whatsoever?!

I thought the ball throwing was quite funny. By the time Gabriel pulled his shirt down, Hartland was gone and Gabriel had no idea who the culprit was.

Haaland on 16:16 - Sep 23 with 4028 viewssoupytwist

I'd say Bernardo Silva (I think) running up to Gabriel from across the penalty area and poking him in the stomach was worse.

I also think that Haaland was well within his rights to block off the run of the Arsenal player after the re-start given that he'd watched Havertz do it at the start of the game.

To no one's surprise neither team provided a particularly edifying spectacle from a sportsmanship perspective but they each gave as good as they got.

McKenna got in a fight with the side of the dugout following Hull's late equaliser last season. Personally I don't mind seeing a bit of passion. I can't stand Man City though.

Nothing, but Arsenal were the golden boys back then. We have no idea what all the Arsenal players were saying to Haaland during the game. Of course he should rise above it, but we don't know the level of abuse he took. Not condoning his actions in any way, but a lot is said between players during a game. Sometime it can get to personal.

I thought it was a great game yesterday - Arsenal did so well not to fold, and then come back and lead in the 2nd part of 1st half - incredible!

They can't complain about the sending off, but playing a 6/3 formation took proper guts and so nearly came off. Made for an unusual spectacle too - I realise some will have hated it and talked of parking the bus, but to me, it was enthralling.

I saw the Atlanta game midweek too - another good defensive performance, but so weird to see them playing the long ball. (edit: and Raya's next double save in that match was even more mental than the one against Villa)

Maybe it's cos my boy loves them, but really rooting for them this year.

Edit: not worth bumping, but just heard Rodri is out for the season.

That's what gets me - the hypocrisy. Like City don't ever go into to the box of dirty tricks, as if they're perfect all the time.

Indeed, this sort of thing has always gone on between teams who are close rivals. Move on.
