Had a hard time defensively against Liverpool and City but been absolutely fine otherwise. Even at International level he'd rarely come up against the quality that Liverpool and City could rely on. | |

Branthwaite, Guehi, stones, Maguire, dunk, Colwill .

Lewis Hall is getting some fairly regular minutes for Newcastle and was excellent at LB in the most recent England U21 match. Carsley will have worked with him in the U21s so I would imagine he will be in competition with Leif for a call up. | |

Much of the time, England have a bigger problem breaking teams don't than defending.

Think he tried to clear it, but duffed it and didn't get any height on it.
If he gets some height and / or a different angle, it goes elsewhere and the immediate danger is averted. | |
