How long before Morsy sees red? 19:35 - Sep 29 with 2024 views | brazil1981 | He was lucky today, just seen that challenge on the half way line, definitely a second yellow, probably a straight red! Thought him and Phillips were superb as a partnership in there today though, completely bossed that midfield, especially in second half!
How long before Morsy sees red? on 19:37 - Sep 29 with 1994 views | _clive_baker_ | I don’t think it was a straight red, he certainly could’ve had 2 yellows today though. The fact Phillips has come in and Morsy still looks our best midfielder tells you everything about the bloke, absolutely class. As for the question he’s quite street wise, but certainly pushed the limits today. I reckon he’ll get about 15 yellows this season but escape without a red.

How long before Morsy sees red? on 20:09 - Sep 29 with 1783 views | SuperKieranMcKenna | Agree, they do look great as a pair, Phillips still a little rusty perhaps but there are moments of real class there. Morsy was superb, nipping in midfield never giving Villa time on the ball. Perhaps most importantly shielding our defence. That said, some of the time he barely touched anyone and they went to ground like a sack of sh1t. It was unbelievable the amount of sh1thousing from a Champions League team, like playing Wycombe or something. In fairness though the utter incompetence of the ref did serve to create a loud and hostile atmosphere. Nothing gets PR rocking like a sh1t ref!

Were you at the game or still banned? He might've got 2 yellows but sent off twice?! Come off it, it wasn't that dirty a game by anyone.

How long before Morsy sees red? on 21:24 - Sep 29 with 1508 views | The_Flashing_Smile | It was a strong challenge and he got the ball first. I don't know how anyone would see that as a straight red, let alone an Ipswich supporter.

Yes he made two fouls that on another day would have led to a second yellow. Morsy looks so comfortable on the ball. He is a Rolls Royce in the midfield and he’s brought that trademark turn into the Premier League. Give him the ball and he rarely loses possession. Where he is at a disadvantage is when the opposition have the ball. They are younger and quicker than him which often leads to him committing a foul. It’s happening in every game unfortunately.

The first yellow wasn't even a foul. As clear as day on MOTD2 that Morgan Rogers flicked his leg out in front of Morsy and then fell over. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
How long before Morsy sees red? on 08:21 - Sep 30 with 1048 views | bluelagos | He defo pushes the limits. Had he got a second yellow yesterday no one could have complained. Fortunately we have depth in center midfield so if/when any suspension comes we have lots of decent options.

This. Complete lack of consistency from the referee.

He didn't say that though. He said "definitely a second yellow, probably a straight red!" That's why I gave him a down vote (can't speak for anyone else).
