The acoustics at Portman Road are terrible which doesn't help.
I'm sure if you sit in Cobbold A block or SBRL the atmosphere probably felt okay.
But I can understand why it sounded flat on the telly. I sit in the West Stand and apart from the goals (obviously) and a few chants of COYB towards the end, the ground really was quiet today.
Rightly or wrongly, the West Stand and SAR rely on SBR/Cobbold to get us going. | | | |

Couldnât agree more⌠I think itâs good the PA system is now working. And good in part itâs loud.
But there is too much music - not allowing time for songs to generate. Good to have some banging music as they come out⌠but have gaps before and after and in between the announcer
Atmosphere was flat first half from Town fans. But absolutely rocking after the equaliser. |  |

Agree with that. The music should be turned off 15 minutes before kick-off to allow the fans to build the atmosphere ourselves. A-Block starts up, but weâre always fighting against the PA system which kills it off. |  | | |
