That or he wanted someone in the backline with previous Premier League experience. I suppose, if Woolfenden had played ahead of O'Shea at Brentford, we would have had our League One defence out there. Not that anyone would have noticed the difference from the 40th minute onwards. | |

O'Shea with a severe back injury being preferred to a seemingly fully fit Woolfenden will do wonders for the latter's confidence. |
It will be interesting to see if O'Shea starts tomorrow.
If his back injury is severe I can only imagine it will be unlikely to improve if he plays.
