Delap or Hirst tomorrow? 11:40 - Nov 9 with 3062 views | Mullet | Pleased Delap has proved what a fantastic player he is, do we go with more of the same or try to give Spurs something different to think about initially? Part of me hopes we’ve all forgotten how good George is and we will see more of both.

I'd be very, very surprised if..... on 11:44 - Nov 9 with 3037 views | Bloots | ....it isn't Delap initially and Hirst as a replacement. The only question is will the sub be made at 65 or 70 mins. KM isn't exactly unpredictable is he?!

No, me either but I think not having another 9 is hurting us badly. Delap out wide some games especially now Ogbene is crocked would be really useful.

Delap or Hirst tomorrow? on 11:55 - Nov 9 with 2961 views | Garv | Hirst is a bit more refined than Delap, just without the obvious goal threat and explosive running. Leaning towards Hirst starting and Delap on at 60 minutes. It almost worked at Brentford against another very attacking side.

Love McKenna but his subs are often too late and took predictable. I really can't remember a substitution that isn't just like for like.

Brentford arguably I guess eg Townsend in midfield

Delap or Hirst tomorrow? on 12:38 - Nov 9 with 2778 views | Meadowlark | I think Chappers and Hirst work best together, so I'd start with them. When it's substitute time they should both go off together.

Me to but no striker option on the bench so it won't happen, Not getting another 9 is causing a few problems,

4-4-fooking-2, stick it in the mixer.

Sure in that case we'd use Ali, and I can see him contributing over the season, but obviously not ideal.

No, same system but Delap on the right to keep Udogie occupied.

Love Ali to bits but like so many of the squad who were here before the summer it’s harder and harder to see them doing much. Can see us having a massive splurge January if we are top of the four or five team league of relegation candidates.

Delap or Hirst tomorrow? on 19:02 - Nov 9 with 1918 views | ArnieM | I'd start with Hirst, Chaplin, Hutch, Sc Szmodics, this front line has more guile. 60 mins bring on Delap for Hirst , more power, more pace against a tiring defence.

Delap off the left, Chappers/Szmodics in the 10/Hutch off the right with Hirst as the 9?Delap has actually looked good coming in from the left - Fulham goal, Villa goal, Brentford post

That was my thinking for the left, he seems to drift out that way any way

Thought it when the window shut and still do, not getting another 9 will be a big factor into why we go down. I mean, we can now factor in multiple individual mistakes too which have cost us badly. But to have another quality striker to rotate with the 2 we have would have been ideal.

100%. Be brilliant to have Delap's running power and Hirst's ability to link up with other players in the starting 11, but it's just not an option unless McKenna thinks Al-Hamadi is good enough to come on after 70 mins.
