Despicable conduct by Biden 09:36 - Dec 2 with 3768 views | redrickstuhaart | Pardoning his son. Normalising corrupt behaviour and undermining the concept of integrity in public office. Utterly hypocritical of Trump to criticise it, of course. But that doesnt make the criticism wrong.

Despicable conduct by Biden on 11:27 - Dec 2 by itfcjoe | But I think what Trump has done and will do is already inexcusable - but it's a slippery slope to say well he's done worse etc |
It's the truth that he has done worse. Biden's actions help no-one as you already say, but the GOP have long ignored Trump's pardons and his actions around things like this. Just when Biden/Democrats do it, the GOP react like they'd never do such a thing.

Despicable conduct by Biden on 11:50 - Dec 2 with 997 views | bsw72 | System is open to abuse, it's just that in this case it makes the headlines over here more than others. Take a look at the names below and whop pardoned them. Includes convicted killers, child sex offenders etc etc Clint Lorance - Trump Roger Stone - Trump Roger Clinton (jr) - Clinton Most of those involved with the Iran Contra under (Reagan) - George HW Bush Peter Yarrow - Carter Richard Nixon - Ford In the history of the land of the free and brave, there have been around 30K pardons issued since that chap Washington ran the place. People need to accept that integrity and honesty in politics is more about shades of grey these days . . .
Despicable conduct by Biden on 11:51 - Dec 2 with 995 views | DJR | This episode of a compelling series indicates the suppression of a story relating to Hunter Biden, so pardoning him just plays into the Republican narrative, as well as being completely wrong. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001f4h5 When Gabriel Gatehouse is reporting on the aftermath of the presidential election in 2020, and trying to understand the motivations behind QAnon, he comes across people who believe another conspiracy theory. It’s about a laptop which Hunter Biden, the son of the Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, had supposedly left in a computer repair shop in Delaware. The laptop allegedly contains damning information about the Biden family. Gabriel thinks it’s fake news and ignores it at the time. But that is a mistake. The laptop turns out to be real, even if some of the claims about its contents are not. Silicon Valley and perhaps even the FBI seem to have tried to suppress the story, while the mainstream media refused to run it. For some, it is now powerful evidence that the Biden administration, and the entire establishment, is a regime that must be toppled. [Post edited 2 Dec 2024 11:54]

This is the real problem; the system is broken and open to abuse.

US "law" is a joke and they just seem to make it up as they go along.

And Trump has pardoned many and will pardon more. I dont blame him for saving his son in a system thats not working very well. And Trump is about to dodge a sentence that was due so he cant talk.

Superb series, well worth a listen. Think Joe Biden should have let the prosecution go ahead, one high-powered example getting max exposure in making a stand to stop the rot in the States of USA might be just what was needed to stop a further deep slide - at least have got a bigger population talking about it. Hunter might even have have been treated relatively leniently in light of his/Joe's integrity in allowing the case to go forward.

Despicable conduct by Biden on 18:00 - Dec 2 with 598 views | BlueNomad | In the months before he left office Trump became the pardoner in chief. He is escaping justice himself, has evaded paying tax for years and has already said he will pardon the “J6 hostages.” Biden is essentially a good man. He and his family have faced horrific tragedy. If he wants them to enjoy a quiet, calm life then that is a fitting reward for his 50+ years service, particularly with the monster who is about to take office.
