KMc was out manoeuvred and didn’t have a plan B.
Pushing their wingbacks forward took Davis out of the game, we really didn’t get the ball to the front four. Needed someone to carry the ball out of the midfield even if it meant sacrificing a forward player.
Problem is our summer signings were all with a 4-2-3-1 style of play in mind.
We do better against teams that set out to play the game their way. It is the teams we need to be besting, fellow relegation fodder, that set out to stop us that we need to be beating.
