I’ve not seen anything to suggest that’s needed. Omari was cutting out crosses after 90 minutes and still providing an out ball and helping us get up the pitch. He was wasteful in the final third, but so was everyone against one of the best drilled defences in the league. Nothing stuck to Delap, Szmodics or the subs either. |  |

I think it is fair to say he is possibly our most technically gifted player so a bit puzzling that he hasn’t had more minutes. Hopefully that will change moving forward. | | | |

I’d say everything suggested he needs a rest. Lost possession countless times, didn’t try and go past his defender once, failed to see a better option at least three times when going forward, and there was that moment second half when he miscontrolled a simple pass and it went out for a throw.
Other players are regularly rested or dropped, don’t see why it shouldn’t happen to him after a poor game. Besides, he’d likely have more impact as a sub against tiring legs. | |

He is a very talented young football along with Delap but I think their lack of experience told there against probably the best defensive side in the PL this season |  |

He did have a tough night and it was frustrating watching him. He still gets into the right areas though but we need that clinical ruthlessness back in him where he will drive at people.
I'd imagine last night was a brilliant advert for KM to take to Ashton and Co . Shows we can compete but need that quality in Jan. |  | | |
