I find that the best bet for London games is to head to Stratford, park at Westfield and tube across

If you're coming from the south, park at Wimbledon and take the district line.
If from Ipswich, I'd park at the end of a tube line such as Piccadily and tube from there

there is a small multi storey at Putney, but traffic is a nightmare around there, and if you don't manage to get in that you are screwed

For weekend parking I tend to drive into the city and use one of the car parks around Tower of London or Minories and then jump on the tube. Usually around £5 for the day.

Better and quicker to park at a Liz Line stop.

Then one change at Paddington.

I was considering that, but was worried whether there would be space there on a Sunday when it’s full of shoppers, so was going to park at Shenfield instead

Have to be there before 12pm and leave after 6pm to avoid the congestion charge.

As Gatwick is full I would head to Woodford and tube. M11 and A406 is a much quicker and easier travel than the A12 (unless you live south ipswich then A12 and south circular) and parking on the roads immediately adjacent the tube is free

There’s a car park ar West India Quay which always has space on a Sunday, accessed via the last left before the Limehouse Tunnel, and with the Liz line a 5/10 minute walk away. Take that to Paddington and change to the District - simple

It's a Sunday, loads of single yellow lines you can park on, in streets around the ground.
